### The Hero Lore

During the Great War and in the years that followed, some Warriors stood out from the rest and performed heroic feats. These are the Warriors who were elevated to the Heroic status.&#x20;

### What it Means to Hold a Hero

The Heroes do not have traits as they have far surpassed the trivialities of combat that the Warriors engage in.&#x20;

* Supporting one student from a low-income family in Kenya to pay for rental laptop, WiFi and tutorial vouchers
* Same access and perks as that of the Lion Warriors.
* Access to the student-written lore of your particular Lion Hero through our token-gated Lions Gallery

### One for One

Every DirectEd Lions Hero, supporting a student, a student in Kenya also receives a copy of that very same Lion (also in the form of a Cardano NFT), creating a direct observable link between the student and their patron.&#x20;

### Bootcamp Access

Holders of a DirectEd Lions Hero also get access to the 3-month-long DirectEd Bootcamp course content, enabling them to learn HTML, CSS, Javascript and the MERN stack (MongoDB. ExpressJS, ReactJS, and NodeJS) alongside the students they support in Africa!&#x20;

The course is mostly based on open-sourced materials. However, we have invited world-class visiting lecturers to cover a wide range of soft skills, giving our students and supporters a unique opportunity to interact directly with seasoned professionals in the field.&#x20;

### How many?&#x20;

Out of the 100 Heroes part of the collection, only 5 will be available per Access Scholarship pool.&#x20;
